As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. You will develop and implement personalized care plans, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for your patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Developing appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Assessing patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary
• Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and healthcare team members
• Documenting all required information in the electronic documentation system
• Participating in required meetings and trainings
• Supervising and supporting CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
• Adhering to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• LTC or Rehab experience required
• Texas State License required
• CCC certification required
• 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred
