7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Nights, 48 hours per week

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care in all aspects of an LD unit, including delivery, mother/baby care, post-partum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation. Candidates must be proficient in all LD specialties and will utilize their knowledge to deliver personalized nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs.
• Provide support and education to patients and families during the prenatal, delivery, and post-partum periods.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Conduct newborn assessments and perform resuscitation as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience in postpartum and mother/baby care is required.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is required.
• AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years is preferred.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact License is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
