Department :Computer Sci & Engr Technology Salary :$12.00 per hour Description : The Computer Science & Engineering Technology Department is currently seeking applicants to fill college work-study positions. Duties: General laboratory upkeep Maintains logs of students using the laboratory Assists faculty with laboratory setup in preparation for lab sessions Assists faculty during lab sessions Maintenance of software and hardware systems Other activities as assigned by faculty Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be dependable Must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Qualifications: Must be a current UHD Student Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 Must have been awarded Federal Work-Study from the Office of Financial Aid All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
