Presentation Designer

Presentation Designer Independent Contractor (1099) | Remote | US-Based We're looking for an extremely creative, social-metrics-fluent, visual storyteller to create first-class decks and presentations for a founder-led digital media company operating at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, creator culture, and social media. Their social-native brands generate billions of annual views while partnering with some of the world's most innovative companies. They move quickly, think creatively, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and very little bureaucracy. The Engagement We’re looking to engage an experienced Presentation Designer who can take ideas, social media data, messaging, and rough content and turn them into polished, visually compelling presentations that tell a story, pitch an idea, and communicate value to both emerging and commercially dominant brands. This is an ongoing, high-volume contractor engagement with consistent project work at an anticipated scope of approximately 40 hours per week, depending on active projects and business needs. The Ideal Candidate You’re a modern, AI-native creative who lives at the intersection of design, storytelling, technology, and internet culture. You may come from a next-generation creative platform, AI company, social-first brand, creator technology company, or fast-moving design studio where exceptional visual work and experimentation are part of the everyday. You don’t think of presentation design as simply making slides look better. You think in narratives, visual systems, motion, data, and ideas, and know how to turn a messy collection of information into something people immediately understand and respond to. You’re likely someone who: Has a sophisticated, contemporary visual point of view and can recognize the difference between a deck that looks good and one that feels genuinely exceptional Is deeply fluent in the visual language of social media, creator culture, emerging technology, and modern consumer brands Understands social performance metrics and can translate views, engagement, audience behavior, and campaign results into a compelling commercial story Experiments constantly with AI and emerging creative tools - not because they’re trendy, but because they materially expand what you can create and how quickly you can create it Can move comfortably between polished brand storytelling, data visualization, social-native creative, and high-impact pitch work Understands how to create for sophisticated audiences across technology, AI, fintech, venture, media, and consumer brands Thrives in founder-led, high-velocity environments where the brief may start as a conversation, a rough outline, a spreadsheet, or a collection of ideas Has exceptional taste, strong creative instincts, and the confidence to bring a point of view rather than simply execute instructions Most importantly, we’re looking for a creative thinker - not just a presentation designer. The decks are the medium; storytelling, ideas, and visual impacts that translate into business development are the objectives. Projects May Include: Client-facing pitch decks and proposals Sales and partnership presentations Media kits and sponsorship decks Internal strategy and company presentations Existing deck redesigns and visual upgrades Results decks for internal circulation and extended client engagements What We’re Looking For: A creative storyteller who can transform raw performance data into compelling visuals that demonstrate impact, value, and opportunity for current and prospective brand clients and partners An elevated portfolio of presentation and pitch deck work Experience working with fintech, VC-backed, AI, and/or social media-driven companies Exceptional visual design, layout, typography, and information hierarchy Ability to turn complex or unpolished content into a clear visual story Experience designing for modern brands, agencies, media companies, or startups Comfortable working from an existing brand identity while bringing strong creative judgment Highly responsive, organized, and able to move quickly AI-fluent, with AI seamlessly integrated into your everyday creative and production workflow #J-18808-Ljbffr
