Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Night Shift - Medical Unit

Schedule: Night shift - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible with various shift lengths and days.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:

• Hawaii License required by the start of assignment
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2-10 years of experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical unit setting.
• Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatments.
• Participate in unit-based activities to improve patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start date.
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for the employee health appointment.
• Dress Code: Professional nursing attire.
• Orientation time provided for each unit.
