Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting License: KY Rad tech licensure required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, and ARRT Certification Must-Have: Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience. Must have 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience. Advanced skills in Cath Lab procedures.

Description: The position involves working in a Cath Lab with a team of up to four members per patient. The unit has two Cath Lab suites. The patient to staff ratio is one patient per four-person team. Documentation is conducted using Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Key procedures include Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, Tilt Tests, and Stress Tests. Call is required once per month on weekends and one to two days during the week. All staff members must maintain Cath Lab-specific certifications and experience. The unit has received recognition for its excellence and has recently introduced state-of-the-art equipment.
