Sr. .Net DeveloperLocation: Little Rock, AR Contract: Long TermThe Program Manager directs, controls, administers, and regulates an enhancement or development program. Extensions are possible for these positions.SENIOR DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTSThe Senior Developer will work within a.Net development environment with a primary focus on ASP.NET Web Forms applications.Local candidates will work a hybrid onsite/remote schedule.Full-time remote work will be considered for the right candidate.Remote candidates will be required to be onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas for the initial 2 weeks of the engagement for orientation, onboarding, and equipment review/setup.Resources will be provided a state laptop in which all work must be performed. The resource must have stable network connectivity and a secure work location that is not a shared or common area.Work schedule (onsite and/or remote) will be M-F 8:00 to 4:30 Central Time. Candidates should be available during these hours to participate in any phone call, online meeting, or communication with state management throughout the day.SKILLS / EXPERIENCEThe Senior Developer will be responsible for managing the design, development and support of complex .Net solutions for a variety of state government business needs. This position will work in a team environment with design guidance and oversight, such as architecture and code review, and developing and updating coding standards.A well-qualified candidate will possess expert level development skills in ASP.NET Web Forms.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain ASP.NET Web Forms applicationsMaintain and enhance existing codePerform and participate in design and code reviewIdentify risks and make recommendations for best practicesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in an IT related fieldAt least 6+years of solid experience in C#, VB.Net and ASP.NetStrong proficiency in CSS, jQuery, and web designStrong proficiency in MS SQL 2008 or higherExpert level experience with modern web application and architectural trendsExpert knowledge of Web Services, JavaScript and AJAX technologiesExcellent communications skills both written and verbalCurrent ASP.NET Web Forms Development Required 7 Years Currnent Experience Using C#, VB.NET, ASP.
