Job Description
We are hiring a Line Cook to support a fast-casual restaurant and work under the Kitchen Manager. The ideal candidate works clean, moves fast, and holds a station through a busy service while staying calm when the board is full. This role is responsible for prepping, cooking, plating, and restocking assigned stations while meeting food-safety standards, quality expectations, and ticket times.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food and complete station setup before service.
- Cook menu items efficiently during service.
- Plate orders accurately and maintain consistent presentation.
- Manage tickets and meet expected service times.
- Restock assigned stations throughout service.
- Follow food-safety procedures and maintain quality control.
- Keep work areas and kitchen stations clean and sanitary.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of line-cooking experience.
- Culinary training or coursework.
- Knife skills and food-safety knowledge.
- Experience with grill cooking and sautéing.
- Understanding of portion control.
- Strong time-management and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage stress during busy service.
