Cardiology Specialist Position

Cardiology Specialists of Birmingham is seeking a full time position, including on call duties. Candidates should have interventional or structural heart training, including experience with procedures such as TAVR, mitral cases, and Watchman, among others. The work location is UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, recommending and working to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care, accepting patient referrals, participating in academic programs, providing appropriate documentation, and participating in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

Qualifications

Licensed Graduate Doctoral Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners is required. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.
