Responsibilities for a Medical Technologist:

• Conduct laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
• Familiar with all areas in the lab, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulations, Urinalysis, Blood Bank and a full Microbiology Department.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Analyze test results and report findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data and provide clinical correlation.

Requirements for a Medical Technologist:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as MT (ASCP) MLS (ASCP) CM, or MT, AMT
• Indiana State License.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
