Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials required.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric and educational OT interventions.
• Ability to follow treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist.
• Effective communication skills for working with students, educators, and families.
• Adaptability to varying caseloads and student needs.
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented approach.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by supervising OT.
• Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and support student participation in school activities.
• Track and document student progress, adapting interventions in collaboration with the OT as needed.
• Assist in screenings and evaluations under OT supervision.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to the positive, inclusive school culture.
