Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Observation Unit / Med-Surg Telemetry / Oncology

Schedule: 12-hour Nights or Days

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Must meet experience requirements within the last 3 years
• At least 1 year of current specialty experience required for clinical pass
• BCLS (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, OCN certification preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and on-unit monitoring
• Skills in IV management, blood product administration, and phlebotomy
• Proficiency with medical devices such as BiPAP/CPAP and insulin protocols
• Experience with Epic charting system required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an observation unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care
• Assist in patient education and support during treatment transitions
