Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, focusing on Inpatient Rehabilitation for an adult patient population. This role will involve working collaboratively with a cohesive team of therapists and nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from various conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing assessment and treatment for patients within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Managing a caseload of patients with diverse diagnoses including stroke, brain injuries, debility, and neurological disorders.
• Utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (BS/MS/DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy license in the state of Indiana.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, particularly in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with a team-oriented environment.

The physical therapist will work in a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation facility with a capacity of 40 beds. Patient care ratios will be maintained at 5:1, ensuring personalized attention is provided to patients. Our facility utilizes advanced rehabilitation technologies, including the Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G, integrated within an Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.

Employees are required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs. Jeans or any unacceptable attire are not permitted.

This position includes weekend hours every other weekend but does not require call duties. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and teamwork in a dynamic rehabilitation environment.
