Job Description

Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Insurance is how families protect what they have built. Gretchen Robertson State Farm is hiring an Account Associate in Okeechobee, FL for a sales role with real meaning — real conversations about coverage, trust earned quickly, and sales that genuinely help the people on the other side of the table.

Responsibilities

• Develop a steady pipeline through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups
• Participate in product training and licensing coursework
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals

You Will Do Well Here If You

• Want to be measured on quotes written and policies bound
• Like knowing exactly where you stand against a number every week
• Would rather learn a skill that pays for the rest of your career than take a job that just pays this year

This Probably Is Not Your Role If You

• Are looking for a role where someone else brings you the business
• Would rather your pay not depend on how much business you write

Qualifications

• Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses

Benefits

• Base salary plus performance-based commission
• 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
• Health insurance
• Dental insurance
• Vision insurance
• Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days)
• Paid company holidays
• Company events, contests, and team lunches

Pay range: $60,000-$80,000 per year

This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met. Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range.
