Accountant

We are seeking a proactive Accountant to take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting operations and support the continued growth of the organization. This role works closely with the Director of Finance and plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring smooth accounting operations across billing, invoicing, and collections. Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance Support month‑end close processes and reconciliations Oversee billing cycles, client invoicing, and collections Process vendor bills and maintain accounts payable accuracy Prepare and file sales tax returns Communicate directly with clients regarding billing and account inquiries Partner closely with the Director of Finance to support financial operations and reporting Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience (senior‑level experience preferred) Strong background in month‑end close processes Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (ConnectWise experience is a plus) Confident, professional communicator with client‑facing experience Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership and a “get it done” mindset Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week (additional onsite time during onboarding preferred) Annual raises typically ranging from 3–5% 3.5 weeks of PTO, plus an additional week after 3 years Stable work hours and a supportive, collaborative leadership team Fun, positive company culture with long‑term stability Why Join Us You’ll join a team that values accountability, collaboration, and efficiency.
