Registered Nurse - High Risk Antepartum - F/T - Nights

About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
