Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Rex Holly Springs

Job Title Hospitalist – UNC Rex Holly Springs Overview UNC Rex (UNC Health Medical Group) seeks a Hospitalist to join our growing team in Holly Springs, NC. This position will commence in September 2026. Rex Holly Springs Hospital is located in southern Wake County at the corner of Avent Ferry Road and NC-55, adjacent to the Rex Healthcare of Holly Springs campus. It offers a state-of-the-art emergency department, birth center, surgical services, orthopedic care, and more. The facility provides free parking near the main entrance. Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited medical or DO school. Board‑Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM). North Carolina medical license (or in process). Preferred 1–2 years of experience. Board‑Certified in Internal Medicine. DEA license. BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Proficient communication in English. EMR EPIC Physical Demands The role requires regular sitting, use of hands to finger, handle or feel, talking or hearing, occasional standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Vision required: close focus. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Work Environment The physician typically works in a medical office setting with moderate noise levels.
