Medicare Customer Service Representative

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to support a leading health insurance organization during the busy Open Enrollment season . In this role, you will assist Medicare members by answering benefit-related questions, providing guidance, and delivering exceptional customer service over the phone.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates who have strong call center experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
Location: Remote - Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM CT
What You'll Do

• Handle inbound calls from Medicare members regarding their health insurance benefits and coverage.
• Provide accurate information and answer questions related to Medicare plans and services.
• Assist members in understanding their benefits and available resources.
• Deliver empathetic, patient, and professional customer service.
• Document customer interactions accurately and thoroughly.
• Navigate multiple systems while maintaining call quality and productivity standards.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of call center experience .
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain patient and empathetic while assisting an elderly population.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Proficient computer and multitasking skills.

Work Environment

• Fully remote position.
• Inbound call volume typically ranges from 50-70 calls per day .
• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends required.
• Equipment and training provided based on client requirements.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
