Ballad CVA Heart Institute is the premier CV specialty group in the region with a multi-state draw offering two main clinical centers and several regional offices. The cardiologist will practice in our Bristol, TN location. Ballad CVA Heart Institute is composed of 39 cardiologists including non-invasive, interventional with PV skills, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, CT surgery, and thoracic surgery with over 30 physicians extenders. A leading interventional cardiologist with Ballad Cardiology Services, formerly, Wellmont Cardiology Services, has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine three times and our cardiology team is a leader in our regions cardiac care with the only regional STEMI transfer program, an active research program, and a strong focus on vascular heart disease with a fully developed and progressive Structural Heart Program.Bristol Regional Medical Center, a Trauma Center with more than 250 board certified/board eligible physicians on staff, has received the Platinum Performance Achievement Award by the ACTION Registry; the American Heart Association Gold Mission Lifeline Award; and is ranked by Care Chex as the Top 10% in the nation and top 10% in the state for Medical Excellence in Heart Attack Treatment; in market for cardiac care; and top 10% in nation, top 10% in region for heart attack treatment.We are seeking qualified candidates trained in all aspects of general cardiology with TEE, ECHO and CT skills.Bristol, Tennessee is a small city with a strong community spirit.
