Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Are you a Pediatric hospitalist physician searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Kamuela, Hawaii might just be the opportunity for you!

• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, schedule TBD
• Job Setting: Community hospital
• Type of Cases: Locums should be comfortable in doing neonatal resuscitation which includes endotracheal intubation, LMA insertion, umbilical catheterizations, IV insertion, lumbar puncture, neonatal circumcision. Managing neonatal and pediatric conditions like sepsis, RDS/respiratory conditions, hypoglycemia, dehydration, GI diseases, etc. Deliveries, problematic/complicated vaginal deliveries, neonatal consultations, rounding while on call. Should always be available for ER consults, ER admissions to Peds, phone consultations from outlying physicians.
• Credentialing: Typically takes 1-2 months. Can be rushed for candidates with clean backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

• Board Certified in Pediatrics, NRP, PALS, BLS
• Licensure: Hawaii - active licensure preferred but VISTA is willing to pursue licensure for the right candidate.
