To support optimal reimbursement and quality reporting, the full-time Outpatient Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting diagnoses from medical records while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Assign ICD-10-CM codes for medical records, including diagnoses Abstract key data elements for billing and regulatory compliance Communicate with providers to clarify documentation for accurate coding Required qualifications: RHIT, RHIA, CEDC, COC, CPC, CCS-P, or CCS credentials Three or more years of coding experience Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems Experience working in a remote environment Ability to maintain a 95% quality accuracy rate and meet productivity standards
