Responsibilities Providing a full range of audiological hearing evaluation and diagnostics to adult and pediatric patients. Cochlear implant candidacy testing, counseling, mapping, and follow-up. Performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, speech in noise tests, MCL and UCL tests, speech reception threshold, and word recognition tests. Performing and interpreting Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emission Screenings (DPOAEs). Interpreting and reporting test results to determine hearing loss, type, and degree, both in written and verbal form. Counseling and recommending appropriate treatment plans for the patient. Fitting and programming hearing aids based on diagnostic findings and patient needs. Requirements Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in Audiology, licensed in Illinois (or ability to obtain licensure). Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients. Excellent communication and time management skills.
