Project Manager – DCS DCS is seeking a Project Manager with direct DoD, Government, and/or Federal experience to lead vehicle acquisition program activities. Essential Job Functions Use knowledge of vehicle acquisition programs to provide administration support, project management, and technical development support. Provide recommendations and technical advice compliant with applicable statutes and regulations, including DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Adhere to quality standards and conduct reviews for project deliverables. Develop, manage, and implement assigned projects from concept through final implementation. Serve as a single point of contact for project stakeholders, interfacing with organization and customers. Define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conduct project meetings, track progress, and analyze data to assess program progress. Manage taskers to coordinate priority actions, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team and recommend solutions to leadership. Organize, manage, and present information, including oral recommendations. Required Skills & Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitivity of customer-related requirements; eligibility for security clearance. Advanced degree (Master's) with minimum 6 years applicable experience or Bachelor's with 8 years, Associate’s with 10 years, or High School/GED with 16 years, and a minimum of 9 years specialized experience. Experience with DoD Acquisitions, managing multiple engineering change proposals, modification work orders, and procurement directives for combat system components. Oversee a portfolio of concurrent projects, guiding cross‑functional teams (engineering, logistics, contracting, finance) from concept through implementation and sustainment. Provide leadership with regular high‑level and detailed reports on cost, schedule, and performance of multiple efforts. Facilitate and lead project meetings, coordinate deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones. Conduct comprehensive technical and financial analyses for multi‑million‑dollar equipment upgrades and modernization efforts. Background in planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs. Develop and manage project scope, scope of work (SOW)/work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, and master schedules. Monitor engineering change proposals, modification work orders, and procurement directives until completion. Act as primary point of contact for projects, liaising with military personnel, civilian leadership, external contractors, and internal departments. Provide professional development briefs and technical guidance on project statuses, procedures, compliance, and best practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kimberly-Clark Corporation
