Job Description Provides market research support in compiling and publishing high‑quality, comprehensive analysis and research on individual corporations, industries, financial markets, and economic developments as assigned. Depth & Scope Expert level role requiring in‑depth domain knowledge and a working understanding of related areas for data analysis and research report development Integrates broader industry context into advice and solutions Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, often consulting multiple stakeholders Uses advanced methods to contribute new solutions and recommend standards for others Interprets guidelines, standards, policies, and analysis results to inform senior‑level decision making Builds stakeholder alignment in leading activities, identifying and resolving problems Works independently as an SME within their specialty, acting as an escalation point and knowledge resource for others Education & Experience Undergraduate degree Preferred to hold or be working toward a CFA designation Masters or PhD preferred Minimum of 2 years related experience Customer Accountabilities Compile, analyze, and evaluate data; conduct modeling on multiple inputs related to companies/industries, financial markets, and economic research reports (e.g., coverage reports, thematic reports, quarterly reporting initiatives, marketing packages) Assist in developing valuation tools and providing advice to institutional clients Help prepare forecasting models (e.g., quarterly and annual earnings forecasts) Maintain and enhance financial models and databases Stay current on market data, economic information, key industry developments, internal policies, and regulatory standards (as communicated by Compliance) to support profitable, well‑informed decisions Develop and maintain contact with market participants Work closely with senior research leads on ongoing publication of research reports, assisting with ad‑hoc projects as assigned May interact with clients; develop and present client presentations Shareholder Accountabilities Maintain awareness of market and regulatory developments to maximize profitability; develop and sustain contacts with market participants Demonstrate governance, control, and risk‑management behaviors aligned with TD policies Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies related to business activities Ensure programs, policies, and practices are well‑managed, satisfy business needs, comply with requirements, and align with priorities Exercise discretion in managing confidential information; elevate issues when appropriate Contribute as a subject‑matter expert to cross‑functional and enterprise initiatives, identifying risks and providing guidance Conduct internal and external research projects;
