Company Description Blackbird Health provides virtual and in-person mental health services for children, teens, and young adults across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia, with plans to expand to new markets in 2025. Care teams collaborate closely with families to design treatment plans aligned with their goals and match each child with the right provider. Ongoing support and regular check-ins help ensure continuous progress and meaningful, lasting outcomes for every family served. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Therapist role based in Frederick, MD. The Therapist will provide individual and family therapy to children, teens, and young adults, using evidence-based approaches aligned with Blackbird Health’s whole-child model of care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting sessions and progress in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards, and collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the care team. The Therapist will actively engage families in the treatment process, participate in case consultations, and contribute to coordinated care that supports long-term improvement in mental health and functioning. The role also involves maintaining appropriate licensure, participating in ongoing professional development, and supporting a trauma-informed, inclusive, and respectful environment for all clients. Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent), with experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based therapies (such as CBT, DBT-informed approaches, family systems work, or play therapy). Strong ability to build therapeutic rapport, communicate clearly with young people and caregivers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation, using electronic health record systems, and adhering to ethical, legal, and privacy standards (including HIPAA). Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Comfort working in an in-person outpatient setting and managing a full-time caseload, including flexibility to meet client and family scheduling needs. Prior work with neurodiverse populations, complex co-occurring conditions, or pediatric behavioral health settings is Experience or training in developmental psychology, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice, with a commitment to equity and non-discriminatory care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
