AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT, you will be responsible for providing a variety of non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patients. * $1,500 SIGN ON/RETENTION BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES.* QUALIFICATIONS * High school graduate or equivalent required * One year of patient care, EMT, or pre-hospital emergency experience preferred * Current Pennsylvania nursing assistant, EMT, or paramedic certification; completion of nursing assistant course; completion of clinical medical assistant program; completion of one semester of nursing school (RN or LPN program); or current experience as a nursing assistant * Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 6 months of hire, Comprehensive Crisis Management certification within 18 months of hire required WHAT WE OFFER: * Shift Differentials * Professional Development * Supportive and Experienced Peers BENEFITS: * Medical, Dental, and Vision * Paid Time Off * 25% discount on all services at Penn Highlands Healthcare facilities * Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
