Job Title Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Travel Assignment Organization SLMC – Respiratory Therapy Services | Milwaukee, WI Facility Overview 933-bed facility Level III NICU Magnet Designated Hospital Position Requirements Minimum Experience: 1 year First-Time Travelers: Accepted upon review Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CRT or RRT Primarily adult and geriatric patients; limited pediatric cases through the Emergency Department 1:1 Required Skills & Experience Candidates must be proficient in: Ventilator management CPAP/BiPAP therapy Intubation assistance Ventilator weaning and extubation Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection and interpretation Equipment & Technology Experience with the following equipment is preferred: AVEA Ventilators Servo-U Ventilators LPU 1200 Ventilators Parapack MRI Transport Vents Hamilton Transport Ventilators Documentation & Systems EMR: Epic Medication Dispensing System: Pyxis Floating Requirements Travelers are expected to float to all units within the hospital as needed. Orientation Minimum one shift orientation to learn department workflow and processes. Scheduling Information Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Time-Off Requests: Up to 7 days may be approved On-Call Requirement: Varies based on unit needs Holiday Requirement: Varies Fatigue Policy All staff, including travelers, may not work more than: 60 hours per week, or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts Additional Information Scrub Color: Any color permitted (no camo or denim) #J-18808-Ljbffr
