This is a great opportunity for an engineer to build a career and learn about IBOR (Investor Book of Record). This position requires a high level of collaboration and interaction with our other technology partners across the department, and an ability to deliver in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization.Qualifications7 to 10+ years in systems development using Java and J2EE (currently working with Java 17; experience with version 11 will work)Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworksSolid understanding of multi-threaded applications and high-performance systemsExperience developing and deploying RESTful APIsExperience with WebSockets, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines (especially using Jenkins) is a strong plusDemonstrated use of GenAI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environmentStrong analysis, design, and modeling skillsKnowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application; experience with JMeter is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldResponsibilitiesLead the technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the IBOR platformDevelop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring BootCollaborate with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirementsWork closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, issue identification, and risk managementPartner with the Architecture team to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the enterpriseStay current with evolving industry and technical trends, including AI-assisted development tools, to ensure systems and team are of the highest caliberNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications?
