Operations Task Lead

The candidate reports to the CIO Services Task lead and manages a technical team embedded in a US Government partner site. This position leads configuration, integration, implementation, and deployment of IT operations. This role is responsible for the administrative oversight of 20-30 engineers this position works collaboratively with project management teams for requirements prioritization and reporting.

Clearance Level Required: Top Secret + SCI Eligible

Required Skills/Credentials:

• Be a US Citizen who actively holds a security clearance at the TS (Top Secret) level or higher
• Bachelors degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Math, or Physics
• Minimum five years of post-graduate professional experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams
• Minimum of one years' experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams running a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline utilizing modern approaches including containerization, micro-segmentation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT III (e.g., CISSP)

Desirable Skills/Credentials:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for efficient communication, reporting, and presentation
• Proficiency with architecture documentation tools such as Cameo, Visio, and Draw.io
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform
• Experience with Configuration as Code technologies such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• Experience architecting and managing deployments into Amazon Web Services and Azure
• Experience architecting and managing deployments in on-premises and hybrid-cloud environments
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Certifications in Amazon Web Services and Azure, DevOps or architecture focused preferred

Salary and other Compensation: The hourly wage range is: $48.08 - $108.17. The salary range for this position is subject not only to the hire's skills, education, expertise, and years of experience, but also to features of the final position offered to the hire: including, but not limited to the location of the position, clearance required for the position, and the contract associated with the position.
