Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within the framework of professional standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and treatments; monitor patient responses.
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the interprofessional team; participate in rounding and care coordination.
- Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate appropriate tasks to other staff while maintaining patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and nursing standards of care; support discharge planning and patient/family education.

Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) and de-escalation training must be active prior to contract start date (or booked at Clinical Orientation if not current).
- Ability to provide age-specific direct patient care in a hospital Med Surg Tele setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced hospital environment and adherence to unit policies and procedures.
