Floating Bank Teller

Job Overview TEKsystems is currently hiring a Floating Bank Teller to start with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution. Main Branch Location: South Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22407. Other branches: Will commute to branches in South Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg, and West Fredericksburg. Job Description Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client, including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; lending products; and credit/debit cards. Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans. Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications. Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services. Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly. Identify opportunities to cross‑sell service products and increase product penetration. Perform platform banking functions. Experience & Qualifications 1–3 years of banking experience, retail, customer service. Cash handling experience required. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Schedule & Hours Full‑time / 40 hours per week. MUST be available Monday‑Friday: 8:30 am–5:30 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am–2:30 pm. Could be expected to work 2–3 Saturdays per month depending on business need. Compensation & Benefits Contract position based out of Fredericksburg, VA. Pay: $23.28 – $23.28 per hour.
