Environmental Engineer – WSP in the U.S., Columbia, MD Job Description WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Engineer for our Columbia, MD office. Your Impact Job Responsibilities Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations. Develop and implement environmental management plans. Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation. Monitor compliance with environmental laws and company policies. Design and evaluate pollution prevention and waste management systems. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Analyze environmental data and recommend corrective actions. Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. At least 1 year of environmental engineering experience Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental modeling or GIS software is a plus.
