Automotive Quick Lube Technician - Quick Lube MechanicNucar Chevrolet, a dealership in the Wilmington Delaware area, has an immediate opening for Quick Lube Technicians for our service departments due to the advancement of our current Quick Lube Techs. If you are looking to start your automotive career that has potential for growth, come and apply today!The Quick Lube Technician services vehicles assigned by management following all established standards and procedures to include rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. We strive to deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.Some automotive training and /or experience with automotive repair is a plus. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, and great communication skills. **Competitive pay of $38,000 to $45,000 per year.**Opportunities to advance your career with training provided by Nucar.Job DescriptionPerforms routine service inspections and tests and completes standard maintenance requirements per manufacturer specificationsCheck all fluids and maintenance-related items and top off fluids as neededEnsure that the required documentation is completed and is compliant with regulations and standardsFollows all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rulesHelps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functionsAttends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desiredUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordAble to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehiclesNeat, clean and professional appearanceExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsHighly professional and dependableSafety and computer service orientedBasic computer and internet skillsBENEFITS401KHealth InsuranceDental insurancePaid vacationLife & Disability InsuranceEmployee DiscountNucar promotes from within whenever possible
