Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown Cardiac care to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients recovering from cardiac procedures and complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in the Stepdown Cardiac unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess their condition, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, recovery plans, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain nursing competencies.

Shift Details

This position requires working 3 nights per week, with a rotation that includes every third weekend. Shifts will be 12 hours long, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Qualifications

• Active ACLS and BLS certification required.
• IA single state or compact nursing license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown or Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential.
