Skilled Electrician

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Skilled Electrician for the Fibrebond team in Minden, LA. Hours: 54 hours per week (including overtime), between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Hourly pay: $20.90–$28.00, subject to experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance for candidates living more than 50 miles from the Minden site. What You’ll Do Read and interpret blueprints to install electrical components accurately. Bend and install complex conduit configurations. Pull and terminate wire and large‑gauge power cable. Troubleshoot electrical problems. Use hand and power tools safely. Assist teammates and lead crews on semi‑complex tasks. Anchor, secure, and properly bus and torque electrical gear. Maintain grounding integrity. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years electrical experience. Experience bending conduit and reading blueprints. Proficient with hand and power tools. No immigration sponsorship will be provided. Preferred Qualifications Electrical certification. Journeyman‑level experience. Knowledge of NEC. Leadership experience with crews. Skills Basic shop math and tape‑measure usage. Mechanical aptitude. Strong attendance and punctuality record. Attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication. Confidentiality of trade secrets. Physical Requirements Wearing PPE: protective eyewear, hearing protection, steel‑toe boots. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders, stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and perform dexterous tasks. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
