Maintenance Mechanic A

Job Summary The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, changeovers, adjustments, troubleshooting, minor and major repair of production and packaging equipment and assures electrical and mechanical systems function adequately to minimize down time. The technician must adhere to all SOPs, cGMPs, and plant quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements and other related duties essential to the operation or special assignments as required. Hourly Range: $20.49 - $30.21 Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUBENT: Maintaining robotic systems, vision systems, bar code verification equipment, and line control management Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical and programming components, including PLC, servo drives and related components, as used in manufacturing and packaging equipment Properly resourcing and using manuals, SOPs, specifications, vendor contacts, and other workplace aids Completing corrective actions and preventative actions to include predictive maintenance Actively communicating equipment status, work assignments and other related information with manufacturing and other cross functional stakeholders.
