Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for implementing patient rehabilitation programs to help improve mobility, function, and strength. This role involves evaluating and treating patients while maintaining up-to-date PT skills and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
• Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Communicate with physicians and other personnel to ensure quality patient care.
• Manage accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
• Be involved in the business marketing and referral process when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active license or plans to test for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Continuing education courses preferred.
