PDM practitioners are local to project locations, minimizing extensive travel, and provides you with a full career path within the firm.Work you’ll do/Responsibilities• Conduct data analysis and data management, market and financial analysis, operations research analysis, and critical and strategic materials expertise.• Identify, analyze, and utilize data on the defense industrial base to increase visibility and direct strategic decision-making• Analyze market trends and industrial base capacity to improve future assessments and investments for building industrial base resilience long-term• Enhance the strength of strategic and critical materials supply chains and policies• Review past and present policies, oversight mechanisms, and other authorities to determine how the client can more effectively incentivize its supplier baseThe TeamOur Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.QualificationsRequiredMust have 3 years of relevant experienceActive Secret ClearanceBachelor's degreeSupport program management and familiarity with client issues, assistance with design issues, supporting client teams, analysis of project data, and development of appropriate deliverables.Is proficient in the use of firm tools and enablers to better support the overall objectives and goals of the program objectivesHas demonstrated these skills by performing status reports, verifying work plan completeness, and communicating with team membersOther skills include development of leadership/management skills, performing benchmark analyses, building organizational design models, and defining business and technical needsPreferred• Has 3+ years of experience providing support to senior leadership in Government or Industry on investment decisions and market trends• Candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas: Private equity and hedge fund research, financial modeling, market, and financial analysis• Ability to conduct analysis of defense relevant markets to identify trends and their potential to affect the client's ability to develop, acquire, and maintain current and future weapon systems, platforms, and other capabilities• Conduct market analysis on key strategic and critical materials by tracking trends, identifying risks to defense clients and larger U.S. economy and propose mitigating solutions, to include changes in policies, establishing market incentives, and potential investment strategies• Understanding of supply chain risk management practices and the ability to use research tools to conduct value chain analysis• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Math, Statics, Data Science, or EconomicsRecruiting tips From developing a stand out resume to putting your best foot forward in the interview, we want you to feel prepared and confident as you explore opportunities at Deloitte.
