Group Fitness InstructorThe Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.Reports to:Group Fitness CoordinatorGeneral ManagerRequirements:Maintain valid CPR/AED CertificationNationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred.Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptableSpecial Skills:Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levelsStrong customer service skillsGood verbal communicationResponsibilities:Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.Maintain all mandatory education certifications.Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.Maintain professional disposition at all times.Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.Above description may be subject to change or alteration at any time.Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
