This is a critical plant leadership role for someone who can combine technical depth, people leadership, and strong operational discipline to improve asset reliability, reduce downtime, and strengthen plant performance.About the RoleThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall leadership of maintenance and utility systems across the plant. This role ensures maintenance work is executed safely and effectively, utility systems reliably support production, and maintenance systems, processes, and talent are built to sustain long-term operational excellence.Reporting to the Plant Manager, this leader will partner closely with operations, engineering, EHS, quality, and continuous improvement teams to improve equipment performance, manage maintenance resources, support capital planning, and strengthen compliance across the site. What You’ll OwnLead all maintenance and reliability activities across the plant to maximize uptime, asset performance, and operational effectivenessOwn preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance execution, including planning, scheduling, and CMMS disciplineLead utilities performance and maintenance, including air, steam, water, nitrogen, ammonia, wastewater, and other critical systems that support productionSupport and lead maintenance-related Process Safety Management (PSM) responsibilities, including mechanical integrity, Management of Change, and process hazard analysis participationImprove equipment reliability through root cause analysis, failure trend analysis, corrective actions, and reliability improvement strategiesManage maintenance budgets, MRO inventory strategy, and resource allocation to balance cost, service, and asset performanceCoordinate shutdowns, major maintenance events, and maintenance-related capital work with plant and engineering leadersBuild maintenance team capability through coaching, development, performance management, and clear accountabilityDrive continuous improvement through TPM, FMEA, reliability-based maintenance, Lean, Six Sigma, and other maintenance excellence practicesMaintain strong compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and environmental requirementsPartner across functions to strengthen execution, remove losses, and improve overall plant performanceWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of maintenance systems, planning, scheduling, CMMS, and asset performance managementStrong technical knowledge across mechanical systems, electrical maintenance, instrumentation, controls, utilities, boilers, and ammonia refrigerationWorking knowledge of Process Safety Management and mechanical integrity requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilityProven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive accountability in a fast-paced operationStrong communication and cross-functional leadership skillsAbility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing or another highly regulated environmentExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or advanced reliability practicesExperience with Industry 4.0 tools, predictive maintenance, or condition monitoring technologiesProfessional certifications such as CMRP or CRE#INDMFGSOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$104,200.00 - $130,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family’s needs.
