RN House Supervisor (Day Shift)- $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Title

RN House Supervisors at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital deliver quality care to patients with varying psychiatric, behavioral and mental health diagnoses, ensuring their safety and continued care.

Responsibilities include receiving call-ins, assigning float pool staff, making appropriate reassignments or changes in staff schedule to meet recommended staffing levels in the various nursing units, collaborating with Nurse Managers or Charge Nurses to maintain adequate staffing for the various nursing units for the current and oncoming shifts, collaborating with the Access Intake Center staff to guarantee the most appropriate placement of the patient in the system based upon patient diagnosis, acuity, and nursing care needs, communicating information appropriately and effectively intra and interdepartmentally, acting as a resource to nursing units and other departments and serving as a liaison when dealing with mutual problems, issues or concerns, and providing accurate written and/or verbal reports to Nurse Managers, Risk Manager, or Quality Improvement Director based upon problems encountered and actions taken as appropriate.

Qualifications: A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required. 3-5 years of management experience preferred. Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required. CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
