Accountant

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking an Accountant (or Senior Accountant depending on experience) to support the Finance Team. Responsibilities Perform regular account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. Prepare audit work papers, financial statements and reports, and fixed asset schedules. Review and analyze general ledger and financial statements for accuracy. Facilitate payroll and tax accounting and reporting, including remittance of tax deposits and quarterly/annual Form 941 payments. Assist Controller and CFO with financial support activities, including but not limited to annual UDS reporting, year-end audit, budgets, and cost reports. Job Qualifications Possesses the equivalent of formal training in accounting or business administration, generally obtained in the form of a bachelor's degree. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience processing payroll.
