Restaurant Multi-Unit President & Growth Leader (Employee-Owned)

Position We are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader to serve as the Small Business President/CEO of one of our network companies in the Baltimore, MD metro area in the restaurant industry with 4 locations. Responsibilities Serve as president of a small business in the restaurant industry with multiple full‑service locations. Determine and be responsible for all business strategy, operations, and P&L management. Lead an experienced team of existing employee owners and own full P&L responsibility. Additional Responsibilities Collaborate on financial decisions with the bookkeeper to optimize efficiencies and develop business metrics. Drive business growth through marketing, outreach, and development of new product lines and accounts. Manage HR and personnel matters, including staff disputes, performance evaluations, and salary decisions. Analyze current practices and promote opportunities for team development and growth. Build relationships in the local community, customers, vendors, and partners. Collaborate with Teamshares and fellow shareholders to transition to employee ownership, coaching owners to adopt an owner’s mindset. Lead growth initiatives, working with employee‑owners to improve operations and expand revenue opportunities. Qualifications Strong background in restaurant operations with proven ability to manage high-volume, multi-unit locations. Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently while maintaining long-term operational focus. Clear communication and collaboration skills to engage all employees. Demonstrated leadership experience with a low‑ego, people‑first approach. Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to innovate. Project management and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, get‑it‑done attitude. Strong business acumen and analytical skills to oversee financials and develop strategies. Growth mindset, willing to explore new ideas and learn from mistakes. Agile and flexible, with a bias toward action and a generous spirit. Ability to partner with stakeholders to set clear vision, KPIs, and strategies for financial goals. Compensation and Benefits Equity stake in the network company and in Teamshares.
