Managing indemnity claims remotely, the full-time Iowa Licensed Lost Time Claims Specialist will evaluate and determine compensability for work-related injury and disease claims while ensuring cost-effective outcomes and collaboration across teams. Key responsibilities Evaluates and establishes action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with claims Decides claim outcomes using established policies, procedures, and guidelines, while gathering necessary facts through interviews Collaborates with various stakeholders, including injured workers and medical professionals, to facilitate timely return-to-work processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred Experience in workers' compensation claims practices and laws, including court procedures and state statutes Ability to manage claims through the litigation process #J-18808-Ljbffr Encova Mutual Insurance Group
