Welder

Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• Label products correctly.
• Operate in compliance with basic processes and work instructions.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements:

• MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.
• One-year on the job experience or welding classes desired.
• Pass JOST welder qualification test.
• Ability to work and communicate accurately and factual as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Physical requirements:

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
