Laundry Attendant - Seasonal

Topsail Carolina Retreats Vacation Rentals 115B Sea Oaks Drive Surf City, NC 28445, USA The Laundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, cleaning, sorting, organizing, folding, counting, and distributing of linens to housekeepers. Laundry attendants ensure the cleanliness of all linens is maintained by the department. This is a seasonal position that will end on or around October 15, 2026. Essential Functions Placing and organizing linens inappropriate areas for housekeepers. Receiving linen bins and keeping counts. Collecting soiled linen bags from housekeepers and reporting if bags are missing. Making linen bags when needed. Assisting housekeepers when necessary. Operation of washers, dryers, towel folder, sorting station, and rolling station Process dirty linens brought in by next delivery date Use protective equipment when working with soiled linens and possess the ability to learn the procedures for processing isolation linens Check and maintain chemical injection system and perform minimal maintenance within the laundry area. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Able to work flexible hours and days with some weekends and holidays required. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must pass a background check prior to hire. Must be able to frequently stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel materials; reach with hands and arms; talk and/or hear.
