Job Description & Requirements Correctional Primary Care Physician Opportunity – Houston, Texas StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $360000.00 - $400000.00 A large, integrated healthcare system in Houston is seeking mission-driven physicians to join its growing Correctional Health division. This is an outstanding opportunity for physicians who are passionate about caring for underserved populations in a highly collaborative, team-based environment. Physicians will provide comprehensive care within a county correctional system, working alongside experienced nursing staff, APPs, psych techs, pharmacy, radiology, dental, laboratory, and specialty support services. Position Highlights Full-time night shift schedule (No locums/1099): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM 14 shifts per month, 7 shifts per pay period. Work alongside a strong multidisciplinary support team No APP supervision responsibilities Low patient volumes – 2-3 patient per hour PSLF eligible employer with additional loan contribution Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability coverage Earn $360,000+ with 6 weeks of vacation time!
