About the Team Our US Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building, scaling and improving the way in which we provide Restaurant delivery. We build our restaurant selection, test 0 → 1 products to give merchants more opportunity to delight their consumers, and optimize ways to improve our marketplace to increase the return on investment our partners gain from partnering with DoorDash. This team focuses on all things Restaurants ranging from selection, to merchandising, to consumer strategy, to leveraging our logistics network in new ways, to so much more! About the Role We are seeking an Associate Manager to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on Restaurant Growth. This team is dedicated to growing our restaurant marketplace by launching new selection, enhancing in-app merchandising, helping negotiate new merchant partnerships, and commercializing products that help our restaurant partners grow their businesses on DoorDash. In this role, you will define and execute DoorDash’s restaurant strategy, creating sustainable value for restaurants, consumers, and Dashers while unlocking incremental marketplace revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep sense of ownership. You’re an analytical powerhouse — you let data win arguments and are comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and modeling in Excel. You’re a collaborator with experience managing stakeholders across diverse audiences, from front-line doers to senior executives. Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week). The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
