Details ICU setting with 3x12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM-7:00 PM) on a 36/36 schedule Floating to PCU (1:5 ratio) and Med-Surg (1:7 ratio) as needed No call requirements Epic charting system preferred Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certification is the only accepted form) PALS certification preferred Critical care skills required including IV therapy, central line care, arterial line management, and blood product administration Respiratory skills required including ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and BiPAP/CPAP management Experience with cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation required Experience with CVA/acute stroke management and cardiac monitoring required Experience with continuous IV sedation and emergency medication administration required Preferred skills include CRRT/CVVHD, EVD, ICP monitoring, Impella, IABP, and Swan Ganz monitoring Preferred experience in Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, and Burn units Preferred skills include GI surgery care and IV insulin protocol management Additional Information Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and life support interventions General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning modules First-time travelers are welcome to apply Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit-testing guidelines Must reside 100 miles from the facility with no local candidates accepted Contract nursing staff are expected to support nursing student education alongside clinical care duties These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
