Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: RN License required Certifications: Required Certifications include RN, RRT or RCIS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Diagnostic and interventional procedures Description: IR experience is required. Occasional IR procedures include vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube placements. This position covers the cardiac catheterization lab, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing. The facility has a total of 90 beds and operates with a focus on adult patient care. The expected patient ratios are managed effectively within the unit. Equipment includes GE for fluoroscopy, with plans to transition to new technology for hemodynamics. Electronic health record system used is Cerner. Candidates must be team players and possess skills in manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post-unit care. Common diagnoses treated include coronary artery disease (CAD).
